Main Street Village

Main Street Village is an Affordable Housing complex consisting of 16 apartment units varying in size from one bedroom to three bedrooms. There are also 12 two and three bedroom townhouses.

Currently another 16 unit apartment building is being built under a different CMHC Affordable Housing program. Apartments will be ready from Oct. 1, 2021 for move-in. Rent will be as follows per month: one bedroom for $900, 2 bedroom for $990, 3 bedroom for $1080 (prices include heating and water but not electrical.) There is no maximum household income threshold from this apartment building. Eight units will be ground level with six of them wheel-chair accessible.

The maximum annual household income to qualify for rent 10% below market value at Main Street Village is as follows:

Three bedroom….. $43,000 

This amount is taken from line 150 of the applicants personal income tax
return. 

Please note that smoking is not allowed in any of the units and no pets are permitted.
